Default Who wants lower gas prices ?

my dr. was telling me about that the other day. he said dont buy off of people like exxon and some of the other big companies, but you know as well as i, there wont be enough people go along with that. we are the government, but it takes everyone, not just a hand full. everyone is complaining, but no one will do anything about it.

We actually can't set the price that low. For one thing, in Wisconsin anyway, there is a minimum mark up law. It's illegal to charge less than this amount of money. Then we have to get the rest of the world to stop consuming so much oil. China and India are up and coming industrial nations and it's going to be neigh impossible to convince them to retard their economies.

Yah, sorry but it doesn't work that way. If you want to significantly reduce the cost of gasoline the demand world wide must significantly reduce on the long term, none of this "don't buy gas for a day" nonsense. (or find a massive oil field the size of Australia in your back yard and flood the market).

Stop blaming people for our problems!Look around you, what do you see? Waste. When you are sitting in the drive thru at the bank, waiting for 15 minutes before your turn, what is your car doing? Idling. When it is cold in the morning what do you do with your car? Idle it to make it warm. When you just run in the store for a minute, the car is idle!If we all made changes in our own personal lives, everyone of us, we would save millions of gallons of gas. It is unnecessary to idle cars and burn gas at 0MPG. It lessens the life of your car, increases emissions, and make a bigger demand for gas.The bigger the demand, the higher the prices! Buy oil that you can change every 35,000 miles. Changing your oil every 3,000 uses unnecessary oil and also adds to the demand.Electric at your home uses oil, or coal in many electric power plants for burning or transportation. Unplug all your electronic when you're not using them and you will save a tremendous amount of energy. Yes electronics use power when turned off, some use a lot of wasteful power.

Default

The rapid increase of oil price is due to world crisis which most of the countries are experiencing. Not unless countries from the middle-east Asia which are the biggest producers of oil will reconcile with UN, this problem wont be solved.
